I’d definitely prefer radio buttons -- one click versus four. Actually, I think I’d like checkboxes even better.

For now, I’d settle for having the drop-down menus back. wink

      *snip*

This has been done and committed to SVN.

thanks for the SVN link, I will take a look however as I’m not accustomed to the command line it looks a little complicated.

The table used within the Configuration page with 0.9.6 uses the table without concealing information with additional row and give more room for identifying setting sections, provinding a cleaner structure.
Are you talking about descriptions? You can click the + icon for more information about each setting.

Yeah, I personally prefer having the description text without making additional mouse clicks, I guess being a new user I need clarification on all the settings, as such I find myself opening all + rows.

I found the setting page within Revolution required scrolling and many additional mouse clicks to update settings.
0.9.6’s Configuration page requires both scrolling and mouse clicks.

I found the ExtJS table within the settings panel only used about 70% of the full page. If the table was 100% in height it wouldn’t require any scrolling. Maybe this has been updated in the SVN install, if so ignore feedback wink

I found it harder and required more attention and concentration just to navigate.
Probably for the best - this is a site-wide system settings panel: you shouldn’t be whimsily clicking around anyway, and should be concentrating more on what you’re doing.

I agree, however the attention required however wasn’t focused on making the right choices but rather focused on navigating the table.

I will sure give the admin some creative thought and would be delighted to help in any way possible with your great product. I really like modx and your work, I offer comments to help and look forward to making constructive feedback where poss

I wonder if "show all" and "hide all" buttons would be useful. New users might like to see all the descriptive text.

This has been discussed before, but lost in the forums - maybe a JIRA ticket?
