problems moving site local to server

Thanks. OK, doing a bit better, and my fault.
When editing the config, I messed up the processors path, the site had been in a directory called "modx", and I mistook the other one for it. (many times too! )

So the good news is that the site looks complete with TV’s, but still no change to the manager, I’ve run the setup again too, and no change.

Try deleting all files in the core/cache directory and clearing your browser cache and cookies.

After much deleting and resetting things, running setup a number of times, still the same.

There must be something that the manager uses below the drop down menu that I’m not getting? Driving me mad!

I think your processors path is still wrong.

Instead of this:

’/home/bmaikido/bluemountainsaikido/processors/element/tv/renders/web/output/text.php’ exist?

It should be looking in:

’/home/bmaikido/bluemountainsaikido/core/model/modx/processors/element/tv/renders/web/output/text.php’

Yeah, that was prior to me correcting it. However, it only fixed showing the TV’s on the website, manager is still not working properly.

Wow. Just went do have another go at fixing this and it started working! I wish I knew why though!

Still a few little bugs, like images not loading in editor, but good otherwise.

Oh, maybe not.
Turns out I must have just gone into the manager with Firefox. Seems to be broken on the server if i use Safari, though it was OK on localhost.

At least I can edit with Firefox, not sure what is happening though.

Did you try clearing the browser cache and cookies in Safari?

Yep. Did that first. Rather odd, will look into it as time permits, for now can live with firefox.
