Are you using the advanced version of 2.0? It won’t install on some platforms.

When I checked i had only:

in

home/user/domains/domain.tld/public_html/core/packages/core/modContext/

I don’t have any directory there, only files, so that: home/user/domains/domain.tld/public_html/core/packages/core/modContext/bb0ab31ff60c6076faf4e52380d863d4/0/ doesn’t exists...

should I chmod core/packages 777 while installing?

that isn’t matter of write permissions to core/packages folder for sure.

double checked it.

Sorry, I’m clueless. I suspect that OpenGeek or splittingred could tell you what is wrong based on the error messages, but I can’t.

Thx Bob. I recently found topic with similar errors described where upgrade to php 5.3.3 was a solution. I tried that yesterday but as you can imagine - nothing has changed. I thought about a bug in modx installation package because there are no such directories described in error log, and wanted check svn. Maybe today I will manage.

using advance install it works out of the box, so standard installation must be buggy.

Anyone have a solution other than a clean install? I have the exact same issue/error codes, but tried using the advanced upgrade (2.0.4 pl2)and I’m still getting a 503 on just the context...

Hi, I tried couple of times more but with no results. Only advanced fresh install worked for me.
