make change to resource using RTE and modx hangs with "saving" endless loop

That happens to me too sometimes,
I just logout of the manager and enter again
and everything works OK.

any chance of someone having an idea of a real fix?

I’m willing to pay for time invested, and would give access to my live setup if necessary...

This seems to be a bug with PHP versions < 5.3.0; will issue a patch release later today to fix this.

I would say that the update - has helped, and is less frequent but it still happens

in my case, php was at version 5.3.3, i saw an immediate improvement with the update but the problem still shows up off and on.

internet explorer 8 seems to have less issues with it though, not 100% sure if it’s the browser or if it’s just that i get "lucky" when i try testing with it... (firefox/chrome/safari tend to work around 80% of the time now)

I have had crack with the site without TinyMCE enabled but I don’t no what I’m to do when I deliver to the client.

May have to drop back to EVO

4.0.3-pl should fix most issues. Have you updated to that?

yes, as soon as it was released.

it seemed to work initially, but that was a fluke as I still get the error and the problem is still there.

happens in any browser and on any system, oddly enough IE8 seems to have the problem less but it’s still there.
