Image TV not working

Steps:
1. Install new normal revo distribution pl
2. Create tv named test, set Input Type: File, link it to BaseTemplate
3. Click on resource ’Home’ (BaseTemplate), go to tab ’Template Variables’

Do you get any JS errors when doing that? I just tried your exact setup and cannot replicate your issue.

so I marked it up like this:

[[*tv.blog-image]]

...

TV tag syntax in the documentation is correct for using them. tv prefix is specific to getResources placeholders.

Yes, js-error said that not enough quotes.
Before I installed modx in Russian, but now installed in English and the problem disappeared.

I am seeing this issue as well.

Same JavaScript errors as reported above.

MODx version: MODx Revolution 2.0.0 pl

PHP 5.3.1
mysql 5.1.41
Apache 2.2.14

Tested on Firefox, IE8 and Google Chrome same problem for all.

Done the upgrade and tried again and still didn’t work.

Have installed a fresh version on the exact same server and can create 1 image tv, all other attempts fail and give the following error:



If I duplicate the TV then it works, however if i then try to assign it to any other template it fails again.

Really stuck now as I need to create 4 image tv’s for 1 template and can’t, until I can the site is at a stand still so any help would be appreciated.

I found the error in my setup that was causing file, image, check box and radio button TVs not to render the input field.

I had used Provisioner to grab the template variables from an Evo install. The Provisioner package had populated the default_text field in the modx_site_tmplvars table with ’\n’. After changing it in phpMyAdmin to ’’ (blank), all the missing TV fields reappeared.
