SMF Mods for new forum

I’ve installed it from Package manager, downloaded directly from SMF repo. and installed, worked flawless for me.

I’ve not encountered any visual problem so far, because all of modifications done by this mod are in profile section only. But we need to enable the use permissions for each member group after install.

If we need another layer of pre-caution, we can duplicate current forum and try to apply this mod.

Yeah well... the french forum are really boosting up right now, and I am very much in favor of IgnoreBoards, which I suggested in the first place

Other languages are getting more post too (japanese and italian are growing it seems), so it might be a very good idea indeed to have IgnoreBoards

@Zi : when you did the new design, you had a forum replicated elsewhere, couldn’t this be used to test the mod ?

It went fine! ... on our server, it asked for FTP info at some stage, but all other work was automated.

Ok, I know Ryan mentioned somewhere that this broke Googlebot or something. Ryan, could you please clarify as I might try and fix this myself since this is such an important feature to have.

The IgnoreBoard and GoogleBot mod are conflicting actually.

They definitely conflict but I think simply switching up the database field name in the ignore boards mod would probably fix it.
