Random observations on our current status that should be fixed prior to a public beta release:

Clicking the comments link on the blog front page messes up the styling bad (footer overlaps/doesn’t drop down). Let’s remove that cute effect (or fix it) and just have it go to a named anchor on the actual entry page itself. update: now jumps to named anchors
[*] Blog comments content needs some work/udpates to better explain Jot functionality/features. I think bS will have an update to Jot soon, too. (Jot 1.0 beta 6 = 1.0, and is in the current installer now)
[*] eForm updates may need to be done... did anyone reach TobyL about updating it on the demo content site last weekend? 1.3 is in the current trunk installer.

Looks like some templates were changed (on the home page in particular). Is this on purpose?
[*] Plugin execution order is now controllable on the Resources>Manage Resources>Plugins tab. I added the language define to the revised default languages in SVN at 1612. This needs to be addressed in french/japanese/chinese (and any others including the public template files).

There is a problem with caching pages and template switchers. As such, we may need to add the turn-off-caching plugin so that all the pages will always pull from the DB and the template switcher will work.

I still find switching templates/stylesheets via a page confusing. I’m accustomed to seeing such functionality in a dropdown list. Am I the only one?
Update: Now I’m not confused and it works
Can be addressed for public RC (after next beta release):
[*] QuickEdit is a bit goofy in Safari; the links flicker badly when hovering and don’t work (they’re fine in FF though, and I suspect IE)
[*] Ajax Search highlight terms need to be added to MODx.it stylesheets for default content. Kyle, do you have a suggestion for exact addition?
The goal is to have all content totally complete when we integrate it into the installer, so we only do that job once. External linked files like stylesheets and snippet updates should be OK and simple to address.
