hmmm, once again. I say outsource this bit about the file manager. Is there any alternatives out there worth looking at?
I did alot of digging not too long ago looking for a worthwhile alternative. About the only two I found was the MCFileManager and MCImageManager plugins by MoxieCode (
http://tinymce.moxiecode.com/) and WebAsyst Document Depot (
http://www.webasyst.net/document-depot.htm). Unfortunately, both solutions cost money and have some licensing restrictions attached. I have yet to find a good solution that is open source for which we can integrate safely into MODx with no restrictions. This is why we’ve been talking a bit with Marco Jaeger (
http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php?action=profile;u=109) about the file manager he’s started working on. I think we just simply have to develop our own. The end result would be something that we could use to drive even more traffic to the MODx site.

Just another quick bump... I’ve added quite a few more to the list at the top. Also, Jeff, I’ve got the current file manager working as a front-end snippet mostly if you’re interested in exploring that some.

I have not commented the list since it’s simply a huge upgrade : so many great things, I mean waow ! That’s some ammo for marketing, no doubt

This would be just great ! I think this one should be high on the list, I don’t know just how it will take Marco to do this, but maybe not for the next release...

With a mostly successful 0.9.1 release, save the missing sql parser install script fix that should probably be updated and included/released as 0.9.1b, things look good.
About this, has anyone taken a look at
mvt91’s bug report about this. He offered a fix for setup.sql, don’t know if it will help...
And were are we on the
MySQL errno thing ?

The recursive parser is 80% complete. I’ll roll it out the QA team for testing when it’s done.
The new parser will be making use of newer tags and parameters while still being able to parse the old tags.
hint hint, would it
answer my wishes
?

OK... I think we’re getting close to having some good bugs to squish for a 0.9.2 release and maybe work in Raymond’s new parser. Anyone up for a bug squishin party?

Sounds like fun!
Now if only my eyes would quit packing up and going south on me after a couple of hours of it.
