oh man, are you using a custom theme with Winxp? Could you guys please send me some screenshots
I’m only using a variation on the standard theme for WinXP but I am using the Aqua theme for FF - and I checked and I’m using FF 1.07 at my workplace and not FF 1.5.

I’ve uploaded a screenshot to my website at: http://www.immerse.me.uk/swellguys.jpg (I’d email but I’m at work at the minute and trying to get an image through the mail sweeper is just way too much hassle wink )

    Hope that helps, Garry

Thanks guys, it’s the siteWrapper div’s overflow property, gonna take a look at a few ways to fix it, some times css can be a real pain especially when FF 1.0.7 does one thing and FF 1.5 does another!

That’s a very nice job overall, very well done.

I think the only thing I would have possibly done different is to use sea life /plants instead of the flowers, grasses around the main content box, but thats me just being picky.

pat on the back for you...

Link changed as requested, regarding sea life & plants I know what you mean, problem is all the foliage was based on shots I’d taken and I haven’t got much ocean fauna and flora stock. Also trying to keep it in line with Southern Hemisphere seasons but it’ll most likely change.

                More deco grunge awesome look.
Was some of the artwork drawn with a drawing pad maybe, it’s very good.
The Stop motion page is tricky, love that:

I can only scroll to one of two files though.

No drawing pad, all processed with a couple of tricks I’ve figured out in photoshop.

At the moment we only have galleries for February and March. Inside a gallery you can scroll through 4 rows (1 row at a time). I’ve done it like this to minimise the number of thumbnails to download saving some bandwidth.

It’s early in the morning here, but that might explain why I was a confused user on your site, even after visiting it before. On the stopMotion pages I was looking for more navigation elements, mainly a button to the homepage.
I guess I didn’t realize the text link was for the homepage, and the previous next button’s beneath the gallery is too light of a color really, maybe that’s because there i no more right at the moment.
Then returning to the homepage looking for the link back to the stopMotion gallery I couldn’t find that either looking for it in the body of the page.
The Upper navigation dropdowns got totally by me for a bit there.
Any links up there you want to be really prominent you might want include they are included in the body of the page. I wonder if you shouldn’t add just a bit of the gold hover color to the menu buttons in the nav otherwise it’s easy to not spot the nav like I just did. Maybe something in the page background out there pointing inward some sort of arrow or something in a slightly different color just to draw attention to the navigation.
Is it just me? Like I say it’s early. Coffee time smiley
I gotta add the site is a beauty smiley

Sorry for the confusion, I recommend some Moca java.

At the moment the gallery is a stand-alone aspect of the site, I’m waiting for MODX to integrate with Gallery 2 then I’ll make them work seemlessly together.

Since it doesn’t really play such an important role in the article-type content I thought the drop-down navigation link would be fine, but as I said, once I can integrate the gallery I’ll make it stand out more.

                      Thanks for your comments.
