After two months of learning MODX I’m proud to say "The Swell Guys" is now live. The following are things that still need to be sorted out:

    • User Registration
    • Form element styling
    • Blog needs some work
    • Site update methodology - have no internet connection at home so I’m using MySQL Administrator to try and synch local dev and live db’s

So go ahead and take a look, a big thanks goes out to all developers for making such an amazing tool.

I think you need to check your main css styling, I’m getting horizontal and vertical scrollbars on your main container.

Other than that, speaking as a an ex-California girl, nice!!

            Let me guess, MACOS ?

Only time I’ve come across scrollbars on that container, any chance of posting a screenshot for me. Trouble is I’ve had to use overflow: auto on the siteWrapper div (which I’m guessing is the issue) to position the footer at the bottom of the viewport when the content doesn’t fill the screen.

Sadly I’ve only been able to test on FF and IE on pc.

Great site and a cool design smiley Love some of the images you’re using for the different headers.

I’m getting the scrollbars on FF 1.5 (Win XP) but doesn’t seem too obtrusive, the horizontal scrollbar is hidden behind the footer for the most part anyway.

oh man, are you using a custom theme with Winxp? Could you guys please send me some screenshots ([email protected])

Gotta sort this problem out, seems when the scrollbar is wider than 18px it scrolls, may have to use a theme on my machine at home.

Thanks for the compliments, header worked out well!

That design is AMAZING! Great work! Looks fine in FF 1.5.0.1 on WinXP SP2.

I found another method for doing that:
