    As has already been said, you CANNOT have PHP code in templates and chunks. You have to put your PHP code into a snippet
    <?php
    include_once("{$wayfinder_base}wayfinder.inc.php");
    return;
    ?>

    Then put the snippet’s tag in your template
    [[SnippetName]]

    That said, what exactly are you trying to accomplish by including wayfinder.inc.php like that?

      Well... I thought that was the way to include the wayfinder ... Was apparently wrong...still learning the system ! So I did put the snippet fine ... it was actually already there ... that php code was only a mistake from the first time I tried to use it...
      That said ... I seem to still have a problem somewhere with a div that is not expanding according to the content, only in firefox though.. I tried wc3 validator.. corrected what it said but it made no difference.. I you have any idea what is going on that’ll be great ... I attache the code so you can see ...the page can be seen live at http://hostelsuites.com/gallery

        What div? The page looks the same in FF and Safari on a Mac, at any rate.

        Maybe appending a screenshot of the offending page would be of use.

              Still looks the same to me in FF and Safari.

              You should clean up the HTML before anything else. http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fhostelsuites.com%2Fgallery%2Findex.php%3Fid%3D27&charset=%28detect+automatically%29&doctype=Inline&group=0

                What do you mean by still looks the same ? does it look fine to you ? Don’t you get the pictures outside of the white div ?
                As far as the html, I have already cleaned it up , most of the code that shows on the wc3 is not part of the template or the page... but the translation of the maxigallery script .... if that makes sense?

                  I am not aware of any MaxiGallery function that would duplicate the ID of any elements.

                  # Error Line 79, Column 10: ID "hostel-list" already defined

                  <div id="hostel-list" class="c1"></div>

                  ✉

                  An "id" is a unique identifier. Each time this attribute is used in a document it must have a different value. If you are using this attribute as a hook for style sheets it may be more appropriate to use classes (which group elements) than id (which are used to identify exactly one element).
                  There is no reason for MaxiGallery to be generating invalid HTML.

                    Ok thanks for this insight.... But apart from this div thatwas placed twice in the template and I just corrected, the following pieces of code are not part of the template and they represent all of the other errors ... I do not see how to correct those types of error as they have nothing to do with the template

                    …rel="lightbox[image27set]" title=" -  <br/><a href='/gallery/assets/galleries/…

                    …<br/><a href='/gallery/assets/galleries/27/dsc_0274.jpg'>Download picture</a>">

                    …_0274.jpg" rel="lightbox[image27set]" title=" -  <br/><a href='/gallery/assets…

                    Many thanks

                      They do have to do with the mini-templates you’re using with MaxiGallery. Are they in chunks, or files? It looks like a modified gallerypicturetpl forgot the closing " for the image title.

                      Whether or not that really has any bearing on the overflow problem, it’s an exercise in futility to attempt to troubleshoot CSS until the HTML being styled is valid.
