Why css gets messed up in explorer

I have an issue with all templates I am using... everything works fine in firefox and explorer but once loaded in modx it gets messed up in explorer ... is there anything we need to take into account regarding this issue that I would be missing ... ? Many thanks

Try to solve any w3org error and fix explorer with conditional comments

check your html contains a doctype

If it works as a stand alone site then the templates will work in MODx, if you have any calls to IE only style sheets make sure they have the right path. A link to the site would be really helpfull bu as I say if it works outside of MODx then your missing something in your template.

actually I have another question regarding this issue...one of the template is in php... and the adoctype does not seem to be taken into account ...

Do you have PHP directly in your template? You can add it only with a snippet call.

In fact it’s only an include I have there , here is the code so you can see what i’ve done..Thanks for your help
