My profile as "thingstodo" seems to have been wiped :-(

It looks like my posts are still there but I can no longer log in as "thingstodo"

For example see my reply here: http://ttyl.modx.com/thread/48751/can-vc-accomplish-these-requirements#dis-post-283061

    Any chance of restoring it?

    Thanks
    Mike

Did you create a new account on modx.com? You'll need to do that (with username 'thingstodo' if possible).

Then... click your account username from within the new forums and select Merge Account. You then need to provide your old login details and the old account should now be merged with your new one.

I'm not sure if the procedure is clear for changing over to the new forum... perhaps a sticky topic needs to be created and posted on the forum home page.

If you want a gravatar they are no longer hosted on modx.com so you'll need to upload one on http://www.gravatar.com.

Also - is anyone receiving email notifications? Not working for me.

I had not been on the forums for a while and suddenly all my MODx installs were giving a couple of error in the php log. The old rss feeds used on the manager home page tabs (evo) longer exist:

          http://feeds.feedburner.com/modx-announce
          http://feeds.feedburner.com/modxsecurity

I don't see any rss feeds to replace the above on this new forum setup or have I missed something?

          Thanks,

          Richard

RSS feeds should be back in place now.

Ryan, you probably should upgrade to the newer logo of MODX, right? wink

                Thanks Lucas,

Managed to merge them but seeing as I couldn't log in as the original "thingstodo" I have now become formaly_thingstodo !!

Oh well, never mind, at least I can find my old posts more easily now.

                Thanks for you help.

And, no i'm not receiving notifications.

@Mike / fomaly_thingstodo: you can go into your profile and change your 'Display Name' to 'thingstodo' if you like. That might help a little...

Notifications are a known issue and we're working to resolve that. Thanks guys!

Looks like attachments from the old forum are missing in action - or else I have no clue how to find them. Check out this thread. The Google cache shows an attachment. (I was actually able to retrieve the attachment from Google cache, which was nice because I needed it!)
