I didn’t (don’t) have a few extra hours to kill, but I dual-booted my PC last night anyway. So far I like Ubuntu, but I’m not totally convinced that I want to use it as my main system yet. I’m so used to XP that I never have to think about how to do something, and the Linux universe is a major mind-stretcher for me...
I grew up with Macintosh, Suse Linux and Windows ME, so I can’t live without any of them.
Now I use Max OSX Tiger, Ubuntu and Windows XP Pro, on one PC, yes pc.
It works great and the only system that’s getting on my nerves is XP, but I’m most productive on XP.
OSX just looks too clean and Ubuntu, hmm I like it alot, but nothing more than that.
The strange thing is that I had a dream of a word called UBUNTU and this was one and a half year before I even knew what Ubuntu is.
I dreamt of the word UBUNTU and the word had the meaning equality and freedom. I don’t remeber details but it was something I could not forget.
That’s why I like Ubuntu, hehe strange reason.
I’m on day three without booting up XP at all, and so far, so good...
