Good to meet folk tonight and thanks to Softlayer for hosting. Sadly for my liver I had to leave early, plus I'd just finished a two hour run so my brain wasn't fully switched on. Surprisingly motivating, both from a business and techie perspective. Look forward to getting more involved in the community again after a while pursuing other projects.

Kudos to Softlayer for sponsoring the evening. I had a great time meeting up with people who share the same passion about MODX as I do. Let this be the first official UK MODX meetup of many There were definitely some great discussions and food for thought - cheers all that attended for making a great evening. For those that couldn't make it, I'm certain they'll be others in the future.

Great evening. Good to meet people face to face. Really good atmosphere with lots of discussions. Brilliant to be able to connect with others who understand MODx. Many thanks to Softlayer for hosting the evening. And thanks To Garry for travelling short notice down to London.

Just to echo what's been said already, a really good meet up. It's a first MODX meet for me but really good getting everyones thoughts and seeing the potential for MODX and projects moving forwards. What a great bunch of people. Thanks

Thanks for organising the meet-up Jay and also thanks to the Soft Layer guys for the free beers, it was great to finally meet fellow MODx developers and chat about MODx and web, some great discussions occurred last night and lots of food for thought.

One key topic of the night was eCommerce.

The only downside with travelling from Leicester was that I had to leave early to get the train back home, sorry to those that I did not get a chance to chat to, hopefully there will be a next time.

I'm now going to also look at starting a Midlands MODx meet-up

I really enjoyed last night. It was good to meet some of the people I have been speaking to on and off for the last couple of years. It's good to see that there is solid modx community in the UK.

I echo what Aaron from onesmarthost says about ecommerce. This was a particular topic of conversation.

It was also expressed that modx in the uk isn't as well known as it should be. So, I am thinking about starting to do some meet up's and training sessions in the North (Leeds & Manchester).
