WOW that does look like a nice venue, I will send out a email to my hosting customers who use MODx once the logistics have been worked out which should also help on the numbers.

Hey folks. Turns out the Roof Gardens is not open Thursday. We are now booked into the Archangel Bar situated in the heart of London at 11-13 Kensington High Street. 5 minutes from High Street Kensington Tube.

Please let me know if there are any thoughts or concerns about this location.

If this works for everyone I think the start time is 18:00. Once I get 100% confirmation with SoftLayer I will post back here and get an event set up on EventBrite and on Lanyrd.

Any ideas on good but affordable hotels in the area?

Missed out on the East London meet last time round due to work commitments, but would still love to meet some other ModX folks if there is any space.

I'll ask around. I am not sure but you could check Trip Advisor which is typically how I find good hotels. Not sure if there's Hotwire in the UK either but there may be deals for last minute stays.

And aren't all nightclub/bar venues supposed to have autoplaying music and flash splash pages to scare you then make you wait to see their site?
