    Hi guys

First post & fist modx site!

Ok the issue I have is, I have done a rewrite in the access file & switched on seo friendly urls and all is fine, except for my child pages here http://wallisarms.com/local_attractions If you click on east cork, blarney etc and view the url you will see Im still getting id numbers instead of friendly urls.

    Any help with ti splease?

    thanks

Did you switch on the FURLs in the site config?

              Hi

I used a tutorial online involving editing the .htaccess file & switching on friendly urls in configuration.

here is my htaccess info if thats nay help:

              # For full documentation and other suggested options, please see
              # http://svn.modxcms.com/docs/display/MODx096/Friendly+URL+Solutions
              # including for unexpected logouts in multi-server/cloud environments

              Options +FollowSymlinks
              RewriteEngine On
              RewriteBase /

              # Fix Apache internal dummy connections from breaking [(site_url)] cache
              RewriteCond %{HTTP_USER_AGENT} ^.*internal\ dummy\ connection.*$ [NC]
              RewriteRule .* - [F,L]

              # Rewrite domain.com -> www.domain.com -- used with SEO Strict URLs plugin
              #RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} .
              #RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^www\.example\.com [NC]
              #RewriteRule (.*) http://www.example.com/$1 [R=301,L]

              # Exclude /assets and /manager directories from rewrite rules
              RewriteRule ^(manager|assets) - [L]

              # For Friendly URLs
              RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
              RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
              RewriteRule ^(.*)$ index.php?q=$1 [L,QSA]

              # Reduce server overhead by enabling output compression if supported.
              #php_flag zlib.output_compression On
              #php_value zlib.output_compression_level 5

              thanks

As tkfm asked how are your child links generated?
Automatically by Wayfinder or have you hard coded them as index.php?id=23

Oh sorry tkfm, misinterpreted your question. Yes I used the wayfinder snippet to create the menu.
Then i just created child pages under one of the main menu options.

Could you post your Wayfinder chunks that are used for the sub menu?

                      Yep, here it is

                      [[Wayfinder? &startId=`0` &level=`1`]]

Im guesssing that should say 2, not 1?
