A few questions

Now I would just like to publish some lorum ipsum content that I can actually view on the web.

Created and published/saved 2 documents (one via quick create) and i can see nothing.

I’m kinda surprised can’t find/see these documents listed anywhere, either in admin interface or on the actual site.

Edit: I found them listed under ’Recent documents’. Can I locate these docs on the web?

databases are freaking black magic.

Actually, it’s character sets and collations that are freaking black magic.

If you go to http://yoursite.com you should see the first one (which should be the default home page).

You should see either one with http://yoursite.com/index.php?id=n (where n is the document ID of the page -- shown in parentheses next to the page name in the tree at the left in the Manager).

yeah, when i right-chick on the document in the list under ’recent documents’ and select ’preview resource’ i’m taken to the page(s) with url’s as you outline.

tho the page is blank white. both of them.

Have you setup a template?
