Tiny MCE doesn’t work, but other than that I use it daily for the majority of my work in MODx.

Simplicity, small download size (almost half of opera), thousands of ad-ons, easy to configure .... Just to mention few.

grin One super good reason to use FF is because of the two great web learning tools that you can install on your FF. "Web Developer" allows you to look at every aspect of a website, and when you are snooping for ideas it helps to see how someone else did their markup and css, and js. "FireBug" is similar yet different. In the ’inspect’ mode you can see all the css boxes, which is a big help when you are trouble shooting your css file. "Measure It" for when you want to see how big some website things are, and FireFTP to FTP your files to the server. Lots of good reasons to use FF. The best is it is not an M$ product.
                Cheers,

Addons especially. One of my faves is Aardvark, which is nice for printing some pages as well as demos ("what if I deleted this element"). Firebug and Live HTTP Headers can seriously cut the time spend on debugging.

Half of opera? Firefox 5,7 MB, Opera (Int.) 6,2 MB. huh

I like Firefox too, but I don’t agree with the easy configure. I have many problems to find options or configs, that are so easy in Opera. But: FF and Opera rule. smiley
