Is there any mail-client for Firefox? Or did I overlook until yet?

No there is no mailclient for FF. FF users use Firebird.

I appreciate Operas integrated mailclient a lot. Don´t need all these additional programms and get rss feeds very fast.

It’s called Thunderbird these days grin
I love it a lot (I used Outlook Express before). I’m also using Firefox with lots of extensions, such as the web developer toolbar, Foxmarks and Sage.
Thanks for MODx - I love it!

Tssk, shame on those IE users wink
Nothing has been able to come close to Firefox with the miniFoxFlat theme and a load of plugins like Firebug, Web Developer Toolbar and IETab (just for multi-browser views, really!), I simply love it wink

          • Opera passes the acid2 test perfectly, poor firefoxie.
          • Opera validates with the latest w3c technologies and supports more technologies than any other browser
          • Opera is slim and secure
          • Try to find a Opera 9.02 bug =), good luck. *lowsers*
Don’t start talkin ’bout IE7 it’s sh*t you know. And it tries to make standards instead of following them(devil application).
FireFox is cool but unsecure and not passing acid2 even with FF2.
Safari is my favorite, mmhh... Opera and Safari in one bed...

acid2 is very aptly named, as clearly anyone that builds a site with that many errors and invalid bits of markup is on it. wink

Fx2 combined with FireBug 1.0 (now in beta) is an insanely huge leap forward in web development debugging toolkit that cannot be touched by anything for free.

be honest to yourself, is ff better than opera in technical perspective?

(feels like the discussion I had a long time ago about: 7zip vs. WinRAR)
              hmm rar won.

Fx with Firebug can save me hours daily. Opera: not so much.

Technical perfection does not one’s life make easier.

I must admit that the main reason I don’t switch to Opera is that the Opera evangelists I have come across have almost entirely been arrogant wankers, and I don’t want to associate myself with that type of person.

I also don’t give a toss about Acid2, and I highly suspect that Opera has been fudged to make that face work (and thus create several headaches for people trying to put together simpler styling).

And I’m not sure how Opera is "slim", when it has built-in mail, IRC and BitTorrent.

So for me it’s still Firefox (no second capital F; official abbreviation is Fx not ff).
No, I don't know what OpenGeek's saying half the time either.

hmm never tested Firebug before. I’m not arrogant =) but use opera.
I have IE7, Fx and Opera.

I work with eclipse and notepad++. eclipse has tons of plugins like many codeanalysis software etc.
But I’ll have a look at that Debugger "Firebug".

sidenote: you are real masterminds here, it’s nice to discuss with you.

Firebug .85 current one is not nearly as cool as the current beta. Get the 1.0 at http://getfirebug.com... it’s incredible.

David Shea nailed it (another Mac guy): http://mezzoblue.com/archives/2006/12/08/firebug/ (and read the comments too...)
