    Doze,

I would like to see your zipped up template if the offer is still on the table. I too have gotten the etomite template to work..but am always in search of learning alternate if not, more efficient ways of doing things

    Thanks

    Don

    Doze,

I too would be interested in the mollio template you did for ModX... any chance of you uploading it...?
I have it in two clients’ sites in Eto, but would prefer to use ModX due to increased functionality...

Yea, sure, I have totally forgotten this.. Here’s a clean Type D to work with, just need to add page trail and other snippets to it if you want. If you need something special and don’t know how to get it, post your problems here and I’ll try to help. Also if you modify some snippets for this template, please attatch them here.

The attatched template is just a basic Type D mollio template with modified dropmenu for the menu building and necessary tags/snippet calls in place. If you need something that has more functionality allready built in (like search, etc) you can use the etomite templates in modx too.

      Short instructions:

      1. Copy "assets" folder to the root of modx so all the template files will get to correct paths.
      2. Create new template and copy paste the contents of molliotemplate.html into it.
      3. Create new snippet called "MollioMenu" and copy paste the contents of MollioMenu.txt into it.
      4. That’s it, assing some document to use the template and view the results.. Then start modifying it and adding snippets to your liking

You can also change to some other Mollio type if you want. Just create a new template and copy paste the code from original mollio template, then edit the css/js/etc paths to point correctly (look for an example from this template) and place the modx tags like [*pagetitle*] and [*content*] to the template. I can help with this too if you come across any problems.

Yea, I can create the TypeC from the original Mollio template like I did the one above and post it here, but I’m not going to touch the Etomite versions.. After I’ve done the basic skeleton, we can beef it up with modx snippets if needed.

Actually, we’ll have to support at least two or three differently broken versions of IE, since there will still be a very large number of people who have not yet been forced into an upgrade of their older versions of Windows, since IE 7 will only run in XP or Vista (when it actually does get released)...

The greatest problem is, that it would run - AFAIK - only on those installations, that would succesfully pass the Windows Genuine validation process. THIS is the main problem according to the spread speed grin

In the horizontal menu I want to exclude some items, so that they don’t show up. How to do this?

Edit the documents you want to hide and check the "hide in menu" checkbox.

I just created a new Website with Modx&Mollio: NewWebsite

Now I`d like to have the same navigation as in my older Etomite-Website: Old Website

Everything is OK, but now I have to make the navigation available. What next steps are necessary? I read the MollioMenu.txt-Document, but do not understand where I must write which text.

                      Thanks for help, Hans
