    If you are using the demo site as a base (You checked the install demo site option) then a page was already created for you with that code.

    If you are not using the demo site, create a page called search results and place this there:

    [!FlexSearchForm? &FSF_showForm=`0`!]

    Then make sure to update the Search snippet call in the template with the id of the page you just created

      Update FormBlogComments.chunk.tpl and snippet.newslisting.txt with the new code
      what does that mean ? Erase the existing chunk and snippet and replace them with the marinee packaged chunk and template ?

      Yes, erase the existing code and replace it with the included files.

        Just a sidenote-

        You shouldn’t need the backticks around the parameter values, nor do you need the question mark AND the ampersand immediately following. Not that it seems to be hurting anything. Just didn’t want anyone to think they weren’t getting their moneys worth because they weren’t formatted that way wink

        [[FlexSearchForm?FSF_showForm=0]]

        Should work fine.

            [!Search? &FSF_showResults=`0` &FSF_landing=`43`!] (*from the template*)
            There is an existing and published page with id 43, why can’t I see the research field ?
            What did I miss ? (except marrying Nathalie when I was 20)

                  Mark, you make a mention of search.gif in your css, and I can’t find it anywhere

                  #search {
                  background: url(images/search.gif) no-repeat;
                  height: 56px;
                  margin: 0 auto;
                  padding-top: 22px;

                  I can’t display the search field. I have the feeling that my issue is coming from the way the css is trying (or not) to display it. When I removed all css mention around the snippet, it shows in the page. Not nicely but it does.
                  Could someone talented (meaning not me) have a look at the template and the css to see what is wrong ?

                    Ok...

                    Is the search results page cached? It CANNOT be cached.

                    If that’s working, then maybe I’m missing something. From what I understand, you have the search field in your template and wait... is it really like this:

                    [!Search? &FSF_showResults=`0` &FSF_landing=`43`!] huh

                    It should be:

                    [!FlexSearchForm?FSF_showResults=0&FSF_landing=43!]
                    *Note the snippet name.

                    That says use the FlexSearchForm snippet, but don’t show results here - only the form. When the form is submitted go to page 43.

                    Then on UNcached page 43 you should have in the content:

                    [!FlexSearchForm?FSF_showForm=0!]
                    if you don’t want the form showing up with the results (because it’s elsewhere in the template) or
                    [!FlexSearchForm!]
                    if you do want the form field there as well.

                    Hope that helps. Is there a URL we could look at? Sure it might not help a lot but it will make troubleshooters like myself feel better. Kind of like looking under the hood of your car when it breaks down... I’m no mechanic, but looking under the hood seems like the right thing to do. grin

                      ok, that shows the limit of a "template" addict like myself. Mark’s template has :
                      [!Search? &FSF_showResults=`0` &FSF_landing=`8`!]
                      rather than
                      [!FlexSearchForm? &FSF_showResults=`0` &FSF_landing=`8`!]
                      I did not even check the way he set it up in his template embarrassed
                      Now it works just fine !!!
                      Except that I still see the word "go" on the search graphic file...
