I tried to follow the guide and I’ve already added three blog posts (and yes they are published and what not) yet I get the following error (my test website edited out):
Fatal error: Cannot instantiate non-existent class: debug in *****/assets/snippets/ditto/classes/ditto.class.inc.php on line 27

I upgraded to Ditto 2.0.2 and got RC 0.96. Any ideas or suggestions?

And how did you do the first time you got behind the wheel of a car with a standard transmission? I never did learn how to drive one of those things; probably has to do with my left/right dyslexia! Anyway, don’t beat yourself too hard when you’re just getting started. It will all come clear in time.

I’m afraid moral support is all I’ve got to hand out for this; I haven’t had much opportunity to actually use it yet.

Do you have even one post?

Do you have to be logged into site in order to view the blog entries? I followed all the instructions from the wiki, and I was able to create a blog post, and add a comment. The only problem, when I logout of the ’admin’ account I can not view the blog. On the front page there is a link to "show_blog" but it just points to http://www.skateshoereview.org/7.html

I added a short wiki article that lists the parameters for NewsPublisher. I hope it helps someone.

                http://wiki.modxcms.com/index.php/NewsPublisher

Something tickles me, I took the description from the snippet itself and, unless I misunderstood something, this part is completely contradictory:

Performs several sanity checks and allows to be used multiple times on a page. Only meant to be used once per page.

                Maybe someone can enlighten me?

Sorry to open up an old topic, but i wonder if there are any working examples of this mod as im not entirely sure that my install is working as it should (but have nothing to compare it to)

Is the NewsPublisher snippet not installed by default with the new version? I went through this tutorial but the input page just shows up blank. If it’s not, where can I find the code for it?

I’m using Modx for the second time and I think there should be a much easier way to create a blog or article publishing system. This seems silly. undecided

Nevermind, I looked through the default site and took it from there. Still though, it seems like this could be improved.
