    Don’t want to rain on your parade but the gallery pages have issues in Safari, the thumbnails appear then vanish to be replaced by "missing" icons.

        Until you find a fix -- and i am not the person to help you with that -- why don’t you simply disable the site’s cache?

          We have turned of the cache on the homepage, is it OK to turn of cache site wide? How will the performance be affected?

          Just seems odd that to get round this I have to do a workaround :-(

            Just to be clear, do you mean that you set the site start page to uncacheable, but the problem still happens and you have to clear the cache to fix it?

            Yes, performance will be worse if you turn caching off completely -- but that might be better than the site not appearing at all!

            Is the homepage fairly static? If so, you might really consider the workaround I originally suggested until a better fix can be found. At least that would stop the client from calling you several times a day.

            Simply copy the HTML source code for the homepage to a text file, and call it index-static.html.

            Then add this line to your .htaccess right before the friendly URL redirect

            RewriteRule ^$ index-static.html

              Going to : http://www.orchards-holiday-park.co.uk/holiday-caravans/

              Gives me an error;

              Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in D:\Domains\orchards-holiday-park.co.uk\wwwroot\core\cache\includes\elements\modplugin\4.include.cache.php

              It seems that goin’ anywhere, in fact, returns that error for me. But good news, the home page displays fine! smiley

              Also, i see you are using IIS as a server. This very well might be one of the cause of your problem (for what reason, i don’t know, it’s just plain microsoft style!)

              Try updating to Apache (using XAMPP on windows works very well) - mind you, it might lead to some database problems with your other hosted sites (if you aren’t actually using MySql)

                Looks like the cache files are not getting written correctly, or something is cutting off the write operation before it can finish. Perhaps something to do with line endings? Or character set conflicts?

                  What is the plugin with the ID of 4?

                  You can try disabling it.
