Desperate! Revo Friendly URL Help!

never tried Revo before, but if you miss to set up an existing document as startpage in Evo you’ll get a 404... Dont know if this will be a problem in Revo as well, but perhaps you can check this?

Check the site_start System Setting and make sure it is set to the Resource ID of your home page and that your home page is published.

Hi Guys,

Checked the site start is set to 1, all correct, im convinced its something to do with the htaccess file - the homepage works if you type in index.php after - http://wighthomecare.co.uk.predns.ourwindowsnetwork.com/index.php just doesn’t work without it?

I have also established because I haven’t set an error page that’s what’s causing the 404, but why is trying to find the error page and not load the index.php which is there, is this something to do with the htaccess file?

3 days I have been trying to work this out, so frustrating!!

Cheers for the input so far though, anyone got anymore ideas?? Any mods?

SOLVED!

Turns out there was an error server side!! Nearly drove me nuts thanks for everyone comments!
