When you change the url from .html to /, try to test with a link like [[~28]] in content and see results. If works, the problem is in wayfinder. If not, in your FURL configuration. I cannot help you there because i’m not so familiar yet with FURL in revo.

Done more testing, looks like its the .htaccess thats causing the homepage to not be found, yet all the other internal pages work fine with the furl’s, so renamed the htaccess file back to ht.access and the homepage works again but no friendly urls, what in the htaccess file can cause just the homepage to stop working/not be found?

Can you post the content of the .htaccess file here, will save us having to guess, plus the actual url if it is referanced in it.

                  Sure

                  # MODx supports Friendly URLs via this .htaccess file. You must serve web
                  # pages via Apache with mod_rewrite to use this functionality, and you must
                  # change the file name from ht.access to .htaccess.
                  #
                  # Make sure RewriteBase points to the directory where you installed MODx.
                  # E.g., "/modx" if your installation is in a "modx" subdirectory.
                  #
                  # You may choose to make your URLs non-case-sensitive by adding a NC directive
                  # to your rule: RewriteRule ^(.*)$ index.php?q=$1 [L,QSA,NC]

Doesnt look like anything wrong in the .htaccess file, however reading the entire post are both of these on development url’s ??

Reason I ask is that I have developed a few sites on development url’s and when I am linking to [~1~] or in revo [[~1]] it goes back to the root of the site ( IE 1 level above the development url ), do you have the site url in the header before the </head> ?? if not you will either need to add it or add the site start to the .htaccess file.

                    Hope that helps

Im running the entire site from here http://wighthomecare.co.uk.predns.ourwindowsnetwork.com its basically a temp domain until I set the actual domain over.

Do you mean have I set the base url if so yes I have.

Like I said the internal pages work fine - http://wighthomecare.co.uk.predns.ourwindowsnetwork.com/personal-care.html is an example
