yama - image browser is mostly working except for the following:

This is what I get when using the image option:

    Selecting the MODx logo:

    Image path is: domain/manager/assets/images

Change the url there to "/assets/images/logo.png" and it works.
But it’d be great to have the correct image path.

    Thanks for this! smiley

Please watch this one. It is under the page.
    "Configuration Features -> Base Href"
Current CKEditor does not support. It is coped in v3.1

To use it in current MODx,
Tools -> System configuration ---> Interface & Features -> "Rewrite browser paths?"
    Please set this in "No".

Try Firefox and Chrome is ok and can load.

        *blush*

After correcting the file base path and file browser URL’s per here, images selected are now working. The (first) preview window I posted above still shows the missing image, I can live with that though.

Thanks again yama. I think CKEditor is a big improvement on TinyMCE.

        spacefish, thank you for follow.
The method is good, too. smiley

yama, I also forgot to mention I had updated CKEditor to the latest nightly (3.1) build. I think the base href problem has been fixed in that release. smiley

            Hi yama,

I mean I got problem within the MODX.
I can load the CKEDITOR inside MODX in Firefox,Chrome and Safari.

However when i test it using IE and login into MODX.
The CKEDITOR inside MODX does not load at all and only source code being display out.

Have you face this before inside MODX using IE?

            Thanks
            tfjong

I’m not sure if I’m missing something, but I can’t seem to figure out how to install this properly. I uploaded to my plugins folder and used the TPL provided to create a new plugin, but the CKEditor doesn’t show up in my list of editors to choose.

              Any help is appreciated.

I’ve got jeff/yama’s plugin running and no errors are showing, but when I open a content page to edit, CKeditor doesn’t render. It shows up in the editor toggle drop down so I’m assuming it’s installed correctly. I’ve checked all the required system events set up the input parameters. I’ve uploaded the extra php files too. Is there something else I need to set or edit? I noticed the html for the manager page has no reference to the config.js file. By the way they have evolved FCKeditor into CKeditor, shouldn’t there be a script reference in the manager page somewhere?

                  Any help would be huge.

                    Thanks for code,

                    I’ve some questions:

                    1. What the install procedure for CKEditor (I’ve unpack all files in /plugin/ckeditor and create plugin with RichText Editor events). Does I need something else? Where I can configure the editor? For TyneMCE there are some input fields in MODx Configuration, but is not for CKEditor.

                    2. How can I use my .css file which will affects editor area? The CSS-path field in MODx Configuration affects only TinyMCE.

                    3. And a last question (for this moment smiley ) is there any functionality like templates in TyneMCE?

                    Thanks!
