Funny thing, my family was one of the first in our neighborhood to have a television set, and even at that age I found it offensive to have somebody yammering at me that I needed to buy this, smoke that, and drink something else. And the "entertainment" was, if possible, usually even more offensive. And now I see most of my neighbors and family behaving as if their lives were one big soap opera. If civilization is going down the toilet, television is the flush lever. [end grandma mode rant]
I do miss Star Trek, even if I had a TV (and were willing to pay the TV tax on top of cable for decent reception) they don’t show it here. :’(

Sorry Susan.... Star Trek is in not in production anymore and Paramount has lost interest in the franchise due to the "failure" (right....) of Star Trek Enterprise.
Just as well, it’s better to read the books anyway. Still more of those around to buy second-hand than I can ever read
I strongly recommend "How Much for Just the Planet".

What ? Enterprise, a failure
Bahhhhhhh, if anything the weak link of the chain, to me would have to be Voyager...
I didn’t know Star Trek was dropped... too bad... It sure won’t be definitive (can’t be !)

Geez, I thought I was the one who digressed a LOT.
Anyway, how we coming on this integration? Yes, I’m impatient. Slap me.
