I’m sorry but it still don’t work for me.
    My US hosting package is:
    PHP Version 4.3.11
    Apache/1.3.33 (Unix)
    MySQL version 4.0.25

I still cannot see any editor available in the dfrop down list.

    Regards,
    mupett
    • Sounds like it never got installed. Does it show up in list of plugins in the manager, in Manage Resources -> Plugins?

maybe is somewhere PATH variable problem?
          • The plugins never got installed. You should have FCKEdit and QuickEdit there, if you did the default installation.

              Hai again,

I have downloaded the files multiple times for different testing reasons. I have tested the installation several times, totally clean. Some with and some without the example webpages.

All installations came out clean. The FCKeditor is now working on all my test servers and I really do not know what the reason was for FCKeditor not showing up.

It is working like a charme right now wink

Thanks Jeff for stopping the bug!!

              Cheers Paul

I installed modx again, and I noticed this warning that can help:

Warning: mysql_num_rows(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /usr/home/e-webs/public_html/4us/install/instprocessor.php on line 288

You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ’-webs_modx.`modx_site_htmlsnippets` (name, description, snippet)

I still got the same problem also with the new install.

                Regards,

Make sure that the account you are using has sufficient access to the database i.e to create tables, etc
