This is a pretty interesting case, i am active in fantasy basketball and have noticed the huge progress of the industry, of course they are having legal problems now! Pretty cool area.
I would say follow iusemodx, make a new account. Make sure to tick the box for sudo user, that means admin user, basically. It could be some weird bug or something, you never know.
After that, try to publish with Mcaffee or whatever software off, or use your buddy's computer. Its quite strange that your admin guy can log into
your account and publish, but you cannot. I have never heard of other software interfering, but its possible I suppose.
The community here is pretty good, you can get support to understand and fix many if not most problems, just keep posting here. Heck, we are trying to figure out how to make the on-ramp to using Modx easier and shorter.
