The entire TV tab is missing (unless you're a sudo user). We have only one TV, an image TV. We did not have Show TVs below content enabled and enabling it makes no difference.
I sympathise with your troubles with Articles – these forums have a few posts here from us about that extra – but all I can suggest is uninstall it and re-install. Maybe try re-installing MODX 2.3.3 over the top of itself. Do this on your development copy.

We did all that.
In the end we discovered that our issue was because the template for an article post was in a category. Once we dragged it outside of a category (i.e. the root of Templates) the issue was solved. It took us 11 hours to discover this unfortunately.
