I could not even uninstall Flexibility...so I uninstalled ModX and am working on a new install. Will see what happens now...

Apparently, after a lengthy conversation with GoDaddy tech support, I learned that a great deal of their hosting is undergoing some sort of issue creating time outs and severe lag...so at the moment I have uninstalled everything until they get it resolved (or move to another host).
Thanks for the Foundation link...I think what I will end up doing is once the hosting issue is cleared up, is attempt Flexibility once again, and if it does not perform correctly first try, just keep working from the Foundation base.

doDaddy can really be noDaddy when it comes to MODx. I highly recommend Skytoaster. MODx and I are much happier there.
I should probably keep a count of the sites I'm asked to help fix where their only problem is being hosted on GoDaddy or HostGator. Those two hosting providers have kept me in yarn money for years. A2 or SkyToaster aren't any more expensive, once you get past the occasional bait-and-switch, first-year-discounted pricing model. SkyToaster has its own site on MODX, and is very active on these forums. Plus they send out neat stickers every now and then.

I know it ain't the cheapest, but MODX Cloud is totally worth it.

Thanks for the advice on hosting...I am looking into other options at the moment. Once I do get ModX installed and working properly, I might give Flexibility 5 one more shot, but in the meantime I am just constructing my own templates with Foundation 5.
