    There is no error message if you submit with nothing, or with random entries.

      Reading the HybridAuth docs, it shouldn't have anything to do with MODX logins.

          Have you tried deleting all files in the core/cache directory? It could be a corrupted cache file.

          If that doesn't work, try repairing all tables in the DB.

          If that doesn't work, try setting the sudo field to 1 for your user in the DB, and clearing the cache files again. If that solves it, it's a permission problem as Susan suggests.

          If your user record is missing, or if you're no longer a member of the Administrator group, or if the Context Access ACL record is missing, you'll end up back at the login screen with no error message. See if you get an error message if you enter the wrong password.

          Hi Bob,

          I have cleared cache, repaired DB, checked sudo field. I can see that I am an admin user, within the admin group and Context Access shows web and mgr. I have attached a .zip containing the full database which may provide a better overview of the site.

          Thanks for your help smiley

          * UPDATE

          I had a custom plugin which was activated using the "OnBeforeManagerLogin" event. This broke the login :S [ed. note: SandersDesign last edited this post 11 years, 9 months ago.]
