Time for an "oops" admission. It seems I still had the admin user conditional in the second template, which is why it wasn’t working. I took that out and it worked in the second template fine.
I added the extra parameter to the ditto call, but it didn’t make any difference, only the admin conditional had any effect. The PHx call isn’t inside the ditto call anyway, it’s on a seperate part of the template, so I don’t think it would affect it anyway. I’ll keep the parameter in mind though, should I have any other problems.
So it seems the switching between the two alrternative content areas is working fine now, thanks to all the help everyone has given! Now I’d like like to ideally have it so that the draft version is only visible to a logged in admin. The suggested conditional doesn’t seem to work however. It’s acting as if the admin user is not an admin, and thus isn’t ever showing the draft content. Is the conditional correctly phrased?
phx mo: i think only checks web groups not manager groups. Double-check that tho, I could be wrong.
