Thank you for the suggestion. I’m now using a radio button, and the correct default values and saved values now work and persist between saves.

I changed the content call to match the value of the radio button like this:

    [+phx:if=`[*show_draft*]`:is=`yes`:and:mo=`Admins`:then=`[*test_draft*]`:else=`[*content*]`+]

I changed the is=`1` to is=`yes`. Is this correct?

However, the selection between the two different content inputs is not working. No matter whether I say "yes" or "no", only the content in the main edit box is displayed. The content in the "draft" box is ignored, whatever the settong of the radio buttons.

Thanks again for the ongoing assistance.

Why don’t you remove ’mo=`Admins`’ part temporally to simpify the problem ?

Thanks for the suggestion. I made the modification, and the line now looks like this:

              [+phx:if=`[*show_draft*]`:is=`yes`:then=`[*test_draft*]`:else=`[*content*]`+]

I made sure the deaft mode was turned on on one of the documents, made a change to the draft content and made sure it was saved. However, the change still does not appear on the page on the live site. It seems that the content in the draft are simply is being ignored. If I had misnamed the TVs in the PHX call, or made some other silly mistake, would I get an error message, or does it simply revert to the "else" condition?

By the way, where did you put this PHx call ?
In the site template ? or in the chunk like Ditto template ?

Are there any better options available for these realistically essential features?

There is Auditor 1.0, but with a clear message that it is currently a foundation that needs some work.

It’s located in the main template for the site. Now that I think about it, the pages that I’ve been testing it on have been displayed using Ditto. Do I need to put the PHx call in there perhaps?

Argh! Hold on... I knew it would be a stipid mistake by me.

Your comment about the ditto call made me think. The particular page I was testing it on was one of a few that used a different template. Once I changed the [*content*] on that template to the PHx call,it works!! *slaps forehead* Sorry for my stupidity.

Let me just put the "admin" bit in again and test it.
