Could not download packages via Package Manager

@dubbs, there were issues with Package Management today, are you having the same issues above relating to cURL?

Still can't download any addons nope. Just get the same never ending downloading loop when I try to download a new addon.

We're still having issues with it. Are you receiving a timeout or connection error or does it just sit there? Have you checked /core/cache/logs/error.log for details?

Same Here, Nothing in the error logs at all

Also can't download manualy http://modx.com/extras/package/gallery

It was same situation here. Two hours ago I didn't succeed to download it (it's about the formit extra, but I think it doesn't matter which one) after that I succeed to download it manually from the modx site, after five attempts. Right now I'm able to download directly from the manager

FYI, once you've installed a package manually with "Search Locally for Packages," you may not see upgrade notices for that package in Package Manager, since PM won't see it as coming from a provider.

It might work to change the provider field for that package.
