I have no idea what this means. I have a brand new VPS and am doing my first install of 2.2.14.

I have tried to Google the problem and have found this thread:

https://forums.modx.com/thread/32260/can-t-install-alpha-6

But it is 5 years old and the resolution doesnt work for me anymore.

Does anyone know how I could go about fixing this?

Can you tell us more about your hosting environment?

Do you have PHP PDO and PHP PDO MySQL setup?
