I can clearly see the resource I want in the debug output, however the template chkAlpha is not being processed.
In the log, there are two errors, "context for 3 is web" and an error on a SQL statement that runs fine from the database directly...
I have just started with modx today, so any help is greatly appreciated.

Probably a silly question, but did you actually download and install getResources from the Package Manager.

Yes, and I know it seems to be returning the results from the debug output. It is definitely installed.

What happens if you remove the debug property?
No output from the template chkAlpha, and no output from debug.

Definitely something else going on here. Are you using contexts for anything?
