      Did you changed all the configs?
      Did you cleared the cache manually? So delete all files inside the cache folder.

            Did you re-run setup after moving the site from the subfolder?

            Moving a site from a subfolder is the same as moving it from another server. You'll need to upload a copy of the same version as you're using just like when you're updating, and then re-run setup. Don't FTP the extracted MODX files, rather, upload a copy of MODX to the server and extract on the server itself.

            Follow the directions at http://rtfm.modx.com/revolution/2.x/administering-your-site/moving-your-site-to-a-new-server

                Double-check all the paths and urls in the core/config/config.inc.php file, especially the "connectors" ones, and the path in the modx_workspaces table, (or let SiteCheck do it all for you): http://bobsguides.com/sitecheck-tutorial.html. there is a phpthumbsup problem beacause the path is wrong:
                    /home/mysite/public_htmlit/assets/immagini/mysiteiafides 11.jpg
                    the right path should be:
                    /home/mysite/public_html/it/assets/immagini/mysiteiafides 11.jpg
                    Where is this configuration of phpthumbsup path?

                    But this is not a problem of "syntax error:", i found this version php don't like the inline if example:
                    $message = 'Hello '.($user->is_logged_in() ? $user->get('first_name') : 'Guest');

                    could be in trouble ? For example for MIGX ?

                      Yes, your PHP version is definitely a problem. It might not be the source of your MODX problems, but considering it's been EOL for over three years now (http://php.net/eol.php). It's a problem and should be corrected. I would recommend upgrading to PHP 5.4.x, but if you want to take a smaller step PHP 5.3.x would still be a solid recommendation.

                      I thought every host had officially phased out 5.2.x by now.

                      Anyways, I would strongly recommend getting your PHP version updated, or changing hosts if it can't be updated. Technically MODX supports PHP 5.1.2+ so it should work, but I wouldn't recommend it personally. That and some extras require PHP 5.3+
