Revo 2.2.11 annoying "leave this page" message

Getting this problem - can anyone explain in lay-man's terms how to fix this?

Somebody posted a twitter link with links to the pre-release of 2.2.12. I downloaded it (the bottom link is the regular one) and used it to upgrade my 2.2.11 and it's working fine.

Keep in mind that this is a pre-release, so it may still not be quite right. But at least it'll be better

Still occurs with Articles 1.7.6 on MODX 2.2.14. Alert appears unbidden on Article and Article Container pages.

In MODx 2.2.13 (and probably 2.2.14 as well), what I had to do to fix this issue both for pages and articles was changing the system property "confirm_navigation" to false. Hope this information will help somebody.

I really like the function since it does a required job, I just wish that Articles/whatever would stop tripping it off like a busted car alarm.
