Chrome & Firefox: Navigation confirm exiting from unchanged document

I've done all that. Cleared browser caches, and deleted the entire MODX cache folder contents. Tried it in both Firefox and Safari. The message appears each time I click a different resource in the tree, even if I haven't changed anything, just viewed the resource. And, as Rich said, there it no line in update.js that matches the proposed temporary fix.

As of 2.2.11 there's indeed an intended check to see if you have made any changes, and if so it asks you to confirm to leave.

If it's being too active (is this just Articles? or other scenarios where nothing was changed?) a bug report for that needs to be opened and I'll gladly look into that as I'm the one that sent the PR to add that intentional check in the first place.

I experimented the issue on:
- Articles (resource) with Rich Text option enabled (TinyMCE);
- Weblinks

On Symlinks popup doesn't show.

I can confirm that here. Once I cleared the entire MODX cache folder, and the re-cleared my browser disk cache, this problem went away.

I cleared modx cache and browser cache but the issue still persists

My browser: Chrome 2.0.1700.76 m (32 bit) on Windows 8.1(x64) [ed. note: pnkdrg last edited this post 12 years, 8 months ago.]

New install of revo done tonight, revo 2.2.11, installed articles (maybe is some strange interaction?), and got the problem on ANY resource, even new pages!!

It popups just by navigating the tree resources!!

As noted on this thread I spent some time debugging this and have prepared a patch. If you're interested in the nitty gritty of this nasty bug, check this post in the same thread.

In the other thread, Jason said he was considering a new patch release to fix the problem, and now that a proper patch is available, I suppose that wont take long.

Same thing here. All normal procedures done, no help. Few sites to run, need quick fix before 2.2.12.
