    I haven't had to install this system for a few years, and I am not a professional web person, so I am definitely lost. For some reason I am unable to complete the basic set up installation process. I get as far as entering the admin info, click next;

    The address bar says: http://mydomain.com/setup/index.php?action=complete but I am getting a blank (white) page instead of the context installation page. Any suggestions for the laymen would be much appreciated!

    Blessings!
    Tracy

          I think I found my answer, for now. I just need to figure out these instructions!

          If you get a blank screen or cannot proceed after clicking 'Install', verify these steps:

          Make sure the directories "/core/packages","/core/cache", "/core/import", and "/core/export" are writable.
          Make sure your php.ini setting sets memory_limit to 128M, and max_execution_time to 120
          Create a blank file "/core/config/config.inc.php" and make it writable. DO NOT COPY config.inc.tpl! Just make it a blank file!

            Hmmm....I was excited for a minute. Modifications did not work. I really do not understand what the issue is. All the checks were successful. I am so confused.

                    I use IX. The site was hosted there before so I know this works.

                      Make sure your browser cache and cookies are cleared. Sometimes an old .js file cached in the browser can cause problems.

                      Do you get this page?
