Tinymce not visible when creating new article

Redactor does not yet support MIGX, correct, though I actually got an email from Bruno today with some ideas and pointers on how to get it to work properly. We could've added it support for it before but I don't want to introduce hacky code into Redactor just because MIGX can't handle custom TV inputs registering assets and html to the page. MIGX has had code added to it to specifically support TinyMCE and CKEditor, so we'll likely need to add something for Redactor there too. We're working on it.

As for this post, I've heard JP DeVries (who sorta took over Articles development, and is also lead dev on Redactor) mention the bug that it didn't load rich text editors on creating new article posts. But I thought he also fixed it elsewhere..

Is there any chance you could bring this issue to JP DeVries attention?

We've just landed a patch for MIGX that is pending approval https://github.com/Bruno17/MIGX/pull/113 that will work together with Redactor 1.2 (which will be released soon) and provides Redactor within MIGX update panels

I installed the latest version of Articles (1.6.9-pl) but still don't get the RTE editor when initially creating an article. Got this error on installation of the upgrade (on MODX Cloud):

xPDOVehicle validator failed: type php (/paas/c0133/www/core/packages/articles-1.6.9-pl/xPDOTransportVehicle/4c4684b78079f9d3aa4b70ba6c7fdd78.validate.archivist.validator)
Could not validate vehicle: Array ( [license] => GNU GENERAL PUBLIC LICENSE Version 2 ... the entire GPU license document....

Once the article is saved, the RTE shows up when you edit the saved article.

Any progress on this issue? I have a blog I want to move onto a MODX site, and this is preventing me from doing so.
