After upgrade to 2.2.8 problem "access denied" on save

Yippee, 5 out of 5 sites I did the fix on yesterday, didn't come up with the access denied issue this morning, so all good for now.

Forgive my stupidity but did you just replace the connector.php galitem.class.php from https://github.com/garryn/Gallery/commit/16cc6181693 over your existing gallery install?

I just edited my relevant files as per the notes and reuploaded them... seems to work!

Ah... looks like a 1.5.3 update now incorporates this fix....

Yep, it does - we decided to release a hot-fix release for this in light of the confirmations we've had that the fix has been working for people So, anybody who has been suffering from this, should upgrade to the 1.5.3pl release to rectify the issue.

Thanks for that! I upgraded Gallery, but it's hard to tell if it worked because the problem was fairly infrequent. So far I haven't seen the error. I'll try to check back in a week or so and let you know if we've seen it again.

Then to solve the thing you need to upgrade the gallery?

Yes, the current version of Gallery is supposed to fix this - and I can report that since upgrading Gallery we have not seen this problem.

I upgrade the Gallery but in the english version, of my site don't see the image. The problem is because the path of php thumb in italian is /assets/components/gallery in english version with the upgrade the gallery do /en/assets/components/gallery wrong.
