    Of course, sorry. Here you go:
    urkult.tonguesofdestruction.com

    The error is only available for articles, the subcategories are right. Click on the first entry (news) and you’ll see what I mean. This one is an article.

      I believe that you’ll need to add a line to your template’s head:
      <base href="[(site_url)]"></base>

      This is what happens when I tried to use the W3C CSS validator:
      File not found: http://urkult.tonguesofdestruction.com/News/assets/templates/buryyx/style.css: Not Found
      Without the base href set, the relative path given for the css file is being filled in with the extra URL paths. So you may have to use an absolute path for your css file if the base href setting doesn’t fix it.

        Thank you. Running fine now.
        But how can I only dispay the subcategories name but without the author’s name and release / publishing date? Nobody is interested in such things for subcategories wink

          Wouldn’t the template chunk you use have what you want?

            The question is not whether the chunk is able to do it or include it, but the question is, where to find all the config-stuff. I’m currently searching for excluding the subcategories completely from the content-area but instead make them available in a drop-down-menu via wayfinder. I found different configs in the wayfinder folder but dont know how to make them available to my site.

            Also unde rmodules in the backend there is wayfinder but when I click on it nothing is shown. Just plain white empty content area.

              Some examples of using the configs in wayfinder:

              Also unde rmodules in the backend there is wayfinder but when I click on it nothing is shown. Just plain white empty content area.[/QUOTE]This does not make sense since wayfinder is a snippet not a module. The site above has lots of info on wayfinder, definitely worth checking out.

                Yes, they’re some examples and that’s good. But I tried one and it doesn’t function. It was not a dropdown but instead it listed all the categories like this:
                News | Artikel -> then all subcategories
                the new line:
                Rezension -> then again all subcategories
                and then in a new line:
                Impressum

                There are also now CSS files in the folder but instead only PHP which are named Dropdown ... bla bla, must I rename this?

                  Also, is there any snippet, module whatever which uses Ajax and is able to put a link under a teaser-like text (news for example) and will load the "hidden" text after clicking on the link? I like this a lot but haven’t found it in the repository.
                  I use an ancient FAQ display snippet for this; I’ve modified it so much for different uses that I have no idea what the original was.
                  $resourceparent = isset($faqFolder) ? $faqFolder : $modx->documentIdentifier;
                  $output = "<script type=\"text/javascript\">
                  function expand(thistag) {
                    styleObj = document.getElementById(thistag).style;
                    if (styleObj.display=='none') {styleObj.display = '';}
                    else {styleObj.display = 'none';}
                  }
                  </script>";

                  $faq = $modx->getActiveChildren($faqFolder,'pagetitle', 'ASC', $fields=' id, pagetitle, content');
                  $limit=count($faq);
                  if($limit<1) {
                    $output .= 'No Questions Found<br />';
                  }
                  for ($y = 0; $y < $limit; $y++) {
                  $output .= '<ul><div onclick="expand('.$faq[$y]['id'].');" style="cursor:pointer;"><li><div class="faq">'.$faq[$y]['pagetitle'].'</div></li><div id="'.$faq[$y]['id'].'"  style="display:none">'.$faq[$y]['content'].'</div></div></ul>';
                  }

                  return $output;

                  Put it into the snippets section and applied the following to the template:
                  [+newsopen+]

                  newsopen is the snippet title.

                  Also the News headlines doesn’t appear a second time for the newsopen snippet but do appear for the [*content*] which is within themplate. That’s OK, but doesn’t function in the right way. By clicking on a headline the content of the news message does appear below the first entry, I’ve only two there right now. Which is obscure because the conent is for the first entry, the newest, not for the oldest.

                    FWIW, if you will separate your questions into focused, individual topics with appropriate subject lines, rather than an all inclusive, generalized help subject, you might get more focused assistance from the community. It also makes it easier for new users to find information that helped someone else learning for the first time, and that benefits the entire community.
