Formz installation causes site to go blank.

I have installed Formz 1.0 rc2 on two different sites. Both sites are on MODXCloud and v 2.2.5. After installation and clearing cache, I get the blank page. Very weird.

Anyone else experience this or know what might be causing this? No error in the log.

Even tho' the site is blank, I tried to create a form and it gave a pop-up error when I tried to save it. In the error log:

Something seems wrong with the db creation script for you, can you try hitting the reinstall button in Manager and see if this creates the fields in the table.

I did try a re-install and it did not work. Is it just the "field list" that it is suppose to create?

Yep, you can try to add the missing field 'hooks' manually in your formz-table and see if extension is running fine.

I added 'hooks'. 'Properties' was also missing, so I added that. I can now create a form, but this does not fix the blank page and there are no errors in the error log. As soon as I remove Formz from pkg mgmt, I see my site. weird stuff. any ideas?

Did you install the needed extra's FormIt and FormItFastPack also? Could be important! Also check if you resources uses the correct template. Formz creates TV's and probably this is the section where it also did go wrong. Maybe you need to connect the TV created by Formz to your template.

Yes. FormIt and FormItFastPack are installed. What TV's does it create? the only TV is the one I created according to your instructions.

I can't really say what the issue is that's causing this. I have had others install it without any issues at all. I don't use SiphonLabs so I cannot test this either.

I have successfully installed the newest version on two sites. I made sure the sites were completely clean of ALL formz components including the TV that I created, flushed all permissions, cleared cache, re-installed, added missing columns and now it worked.

Not sure why it was giving me such a headache, but happy now
