You may have already taken a look at Foxycart, but if you haven't, I definitely would recommend you take a second look. They just rolled out 2.0 not too long ago and we've been able to build some powerful eCommerce setups for our clients in MODX that uses responsive HTML (Foxycart is now responsive) as well as being able to build some cool inventory tools in MODX that syncs with Foxycart's new API. Here's a MODX site we launched a few days ago that uses Twitter Bootstrap on the site, in the Foxycart cart and checkout: http://www.rain6.com. We built some inventory plugins in MODX which we'll be putting into Git shortly to share with the community.

Site looks nice. I used Foxy for awhile but they took too long to offer mobile. I switched to stripe. I'll be interested to see the plugins. Keep us posted.
