    It's an odd question. MODX already has tables containing that information and you can already manage those tables in the Manager. Why not just use what's there?

          In the Manager, select Security -> Manage Users on the Top Menu. Select a user by right-clicking on the user in the grid and picking "Update User"

            Thanx bob,

            but this is not working for me .. what i want i will let u know. let's suppose i have a tabel with value's .. now i want that i want to create new link or page in manager.so at that i can get the listing of my record's from that table through php core query..! i hope u understand my point..

            i have follow that page for create page in manager
            http://rtfm.modx.com/display/revolution20/Custom+Manager+Pages+Tutorial

            from that i can create the page in manager but i have get my output through that function's

            <?php
            return 'This is my first Custom Manager Page';
            ?>

            Notice that we did NOT use print, or echo, or raw HTML in our PHP. If you use any of these, you'll find that the text floats to the top of the page; remember that a Custom Manager Page is really acting as a function, so it should return a value.

            but as u know i can't do any coding in this page.. like php multiple query's etc etc .. so now can u plz tell me how can i run my php code in that page ..? i think we can also create the template for our page so we can do any type of coding in our manager page for this i have follow that page:-

            http://rtfm.modx.com/display/revolution20/Custom+Manager+Pages+in+2.3

            but this is for mod'x 2.3 and i m use 2.6 ..

            can u plz tell me how can i run my php query code in my custom manger page ..? if it is not possible then can u plz tell me how can i manage with the template ..?

            Thanx smiley

              You can put any PHP code you want on that page. Whatever is in the return will be output on the page.

              For example, this should put a list of users and their email addresses on the page:

              <?php

              $output = '';

              $users = $modx->getCollection('modUser');

              foreach ($users as $user) {
                  $output .= '<ul>';
                  $output .= '<li>Username: ' . $user->get('username') . '</li>';
                  $profile = $user->getOne('Profile');
                  if ($profile) {
                      $output .= '<li>Email: ' . $profile->get('email') . '</li>';
                  }
                  $output .= '</ul>
              }
              return $output;

              Generally speaking, the username is the only thing you want in the user object, everything else is in the user profile. There's a list of the available fields here: http://bobsguides.com/modx-object-quick-reference.html#modUserProfile

              There's an explanation of how to communicate with the MODX database using xPDO here: http://bobsguides.com/revolution-objects.html
