    Thanks for that, did delete all in the cache folder, cleared browser cache and switched off the router. Unfortunately the problem remains. Have you any other suggestions that might move me forward?

      well yikes... the only thing i can suggest is try from another computer on a different network. It really sounds like some files simply aren't loading. Is this hosted on go daddy by chance?

        Hosted on one.com (Swedish) and its the first time I have had this problem in 6/12 with Modx. I will try on another machine tomorrow (1am now), thanks for picking up on this as its not directly related to the links issue. I will post separately if I am unsuccessful.

          The links in the content that aren't working sure look like the maplayout div is covering it all, like Jamison suggested before.

          If the manager is not showing up properly and it doesn't help clearing browser cache and MODX cache, it could be a plugin or dashboard widget you recently installed. The error log, in core/cache/logs/error.log, may have some more details if that's the case.
