[SOLVED] Using Media Sources returns "No files match the specified filter"

If I try to create a media source other than File System, I cannot drill down past the initial folders I see. So for example, if I create a media source with base path and url assets/images, I will be shown all folders within the assets/images folder but on clicking on them it states "No files match the specified filter".

If I turn the media source back to File System, I can happily drill down. But any media source restriction will not let me get past the initial level of folders. Has anybody else come across this?

Could only find this forum post which relates to something similar but it's talking about a missing PHP module. Can't image that's the issue here???

Or has this something to do with permissions? I am logging it as the default administrator, no ACLs set up other than the default ones.

2.2.5 sitting on modxcloud

don't have this issue on modxcloud and 2.2.5

is your path and url assets/images or is it assets/images/

should be the second.
